Portsmouth Football Club – how to engage the community

This podcast follows a CIPR Wessex visit to Portsmouth Football Club in June 2011, where we find out about the Pompey Study Centre, the Club's history and how it is making a difference to fans and locals in the Portsmouth area of the UK.

Event bookings – terms and conditions

Wessex CIPR reserves the right to alter the event programme or speakers without prior notification.

If deemed necessary, Wessex CIPR reserves the right to cancel an event up to seven days before the date of the event and will refund 100% of any booking fees paid.


Payments can be made by:

  • Credit card
  • PayPal
  • Invoice

A handling charge of £2.50 (inc. VAT) will be levied to issue an invoice. Any cheques should be made payable to Wessex CIPR and the invoice number should be quoted on the remittance advice or the back of the cheque. Wessex CIPR is able to accept BACS payments provided the invoice number is quoted as the reference.

The cost of Wessex CIPR events is normally £12.50 (inc. VAT) for members, £18 (inc. VAT) for non-members and £5 (inc. VAT) for students.

Cancellations and transfer terms

Cancellations can be accepted, and a full refund made, up to seven full days before the event. No refund will be made after this period. Transfers can be made from one delegate to another at any time.

Wessex CIPR cannot offer refunds to delegates who fail to attend events for reasons outside the control of Wessex CIPR.
