Leona is a Registered Occupational Psychologist and chartered member of the British Psychological Society. Working as a business consultant since 1998, she has successfully designed and delivered change programmes for organisations such as the NHS, O2, Kuwait Oil Company, Trinity Mirror, Atkins, Argos, the Ministry of Defence and a range of SMEs.
Leona completed a psychology degree at Sheffield University in 1995, and gained her MSc at the Institute of Work Psychology within the same university the following year. She began her career with as a Psychologist in West Yorkshire Police identifying officers with the potential for promotion. She has also undertaken research into the psychology of self-made millionaires and the psychological characteristics of women at the top of corporate UK. More recently she has worked with some of the country’s leading sports psychologists to translate lessons from the world of sport into business.
As an experienced consultant, facilitator and coach, she is keen to help business professionals understand how psychology can help them to achieve their goals.
