Mandy is an award-winning public relations and marketing consultant with over 20 years' industry experience. She has helped public, private and third-sector organisations manage their corporate reputation through periods of major change.
Starting her career as a market researcher, she moved into services and facility marketing in the public sector before working in corporate public relations. She has experience of working as the lead PR professional in large public bodies and partnerships, managing all aspects of PR from internal communications to campaigns. Her crisis communications experience includes shipwrecks, major fires, deaths in care, flooding and bombs.
Mandy holds an MBA and has been involved with managing corporate digital strategy and customer relations. Her focus on engaging publics and using evidence to drive PR practice has led her from using traditional market research techniques to developing online engagement, customer insight and data analytics.
For the last 5 years she has worked as an independent consultant and trainer. Mandy's consultancy work spans charitable and public bodies as well as clients in the planning, property, energy and construction sectors. She is a widely respected speaker and trainer in communications working for a number of training partnerships.
