CIPR NE Women in PR event series: Overcoming personal barriers to leadership

Hear from one of Accenture's most prominent female leaders, Kat White, in this interactive session, the first of four in the CIPR North East's Women in PR series.

This series of events has been developed for both men and women in response to research revealing that while women hold up to 85 per cent of all PR jobs, the majority of senior leaders coninue to be men, as well as some of the potential reasons for this.

As an IT professional experienced in business process, analytics, resourcing and performance management, Kat is passionate about developing others to fulfil their potential, and in this session, she'll help men and women alike to identify and overcome personal barriers to leadership, including imposter syndrome, unconscious bias, and gender stereotyping, as well as helping you on the journey to creating an authentic personal leadership brand that helps you get the best from yourself and others, regardless of gender.

Breakfast included.

Other events in the series, taking place between October 2017 and June 2018, will include leadership coaching, a panel discussion into inspiration and aspiration to mark International Women's Day, and address how to create a workplace culture that allows and empowers women to succeed.
