VR in PR

VR in PR - when storytelling becomes virtual

The popularity of virtual reality (VR) is rising year on year and many within the PR industry are already aware of its potential to revolutionise the way brands and organisations interact with their audiences.

As part of this special event organised by the CIPR North West, attendees will get the opportunity to try some of the latest VR technology for themselves and step into a fully immersive experience.

This session will also look at some of the brands that have successfully used VR as part of their communications strategy and will showcase how the experience provided by VR can enable organisations to build stronger relationships with their audiences.

Many experts believe that VR will be embraced by the masses in the not too distant future, so there has never been a better time for those working in PR to extend their knowledge of this exciting technology.

The opportunities for PR in VR are boundless, but how can you fully appreciate its potential until you actually step into a virtual world and see it with your own eyes … This is an event not to be missed!

This event is aimed at CIPR members and non-members alike. If you work in PR, be it in-house or agency, this event offers a great opportunity to meet other PRs from the region and find out more about the work of the CIPR North West community.

The evening will open at 6.00 pm with refreshments and networking; the presentation will begin at 6.30 pm.  Please book here.

This event is worth 5 CPD points to CIPR members.  At the event, non-members will have the opportunity to receive a special discount code that will enable them to join the CIPR without paying the joining fee.

Full payment must be received prior to the start of the event.  No refunds or credit notes will be possible after Wednesday 7 February 2018 but you will be entitled to send a substitute.
