VR and AR in PR

Using new technology to tell engaging stories

The popularity of virtual reality (VR) and augmented reality (AR) is rising year on year and many within the PR industry are already aware of their potential to revolutionise the way brands and organisations interact with and engage their audiences.

As part of this special event, attendees will get the opportunity to try some of the latest VR and AR technology for themselves and step into a fully immersive experience.

Looking at both the pros and cons of using emerging technology as part of a communications strategy, the session will look at the brands that are harnessing the power of emerging technology well – as well as those that aren’t.

The event will also delve into the appropriateness of each technology for different sectors and communications objectives and will showcase how the experience provided by VR and AR can enable organisations to build stronger relationships with their audiences.

With AR and VR being more and more readily embraced in everyday life, there has never been a better time for those working in PR to extend their knowledge of these exciting technologies.

The opportunities for PR in VR and AR are boundless, but how can you fully appreciate their potential until you actually step into a virtual world and see it with your own eyes? This is an event not to be missed!

This event is aimed at CIPR members and non-members alike. If you work in PR, be it in-house or agency, this event offers a great opportunity to meet other PRs from the region and find out more about the work of the CIPR North West community.
