The iprovision fun casino at the 2019 CIPR Excellence Awards set a new fundraising record with £4,120 being raised for the charity.

 Many of the 600 plus attendees ‘bought’ the fun money used to play at the roulette and black jack tables. Those taking part then try to end the evening with the most money with the winner taking the prize of a £125 Virgin Experience voucher.

As part of its seventieth anniversary celebrations, the CIPR has published a book, crowdsourced, asserting the value of PR as a management discipline.

 The CIPR benevolent fund, iprovision, is looking for up to four new trustees to replace those reaching the end of their term in December.

iprovision has changed its bank account from Natwest to Triodos.  This followed some issues experienced with Natwest, which have now been resolved.  However, the trustees felt that the charitiy would be better servied by a bank that specialises in charity banking and understands their needs.

iprovision was again CIPR’s chosen charity at the 2017 Excellence Awards. iprovision organised a fun casino raising over £1,000 net.

As President of the CIPR, I am asking for your help to support colleagues in the PR industry through times of adversity and great hardship. Rebecca, a CIPR member from the South East, was diagnosed with cancer and facing financial hardship as her salary stopped during medical treatment. iprovision was able to help with an initial one off grant of £ 1,000 made within days of receiving Rebecca’s application.

Thank you for your donations. iprovision thanks the Groups who are holding fundraising events such as the Channel Islands Group who are running marathons and making donations from events held.
