Nominations for CIPR elections opened on Wednesday 29 April and closed on Friday 22nd May 17:00 BST.
This is your opportunity to step forward, influence the direction of the profession and play a leading role in the future of the CIPR – while developing your own skills, network and impact along the way.
We’re inviting nominations for Council, Board and President - each offering a unique way to contribute to the CIPR and develop your leadership experience.

Who we’re looking for
We’re looking for people who bring fresh thinking, different perspectives and a willingness to contribute.
You might be:
- Working in a strategic role or ready to step into one
- Passionate about professional standards and the future of PR
- Curious, collaborative and confident in sharing your perspective
We particularly welcome candidates from a wide range of backgrounds, sectors and experiences. There is no single ‘type’ of candidate - diversity of thought is essential to how we move forward.
Non-members of the CIPR are welcome to stand for our Board.
How the elections work
CIPR voting members will elect:
- The President
- Up to 11 Council members in September 2026
CIPR Council will elect two Board Directors.
All roles will begin in January 2027.
