The CIPR Midlands group represents members working across the public, private and not-for-profit sectors, whether they are in-house, agency or freelance.
We’re building a community that showcases the very best of our profession and we want you to be part of it.
Through a combination of supporting our members with continuous professional development – including Chartership – and combining our collective experience to promote best practice, we aim to give current PR practitioners a cutting edge and encourage the next generation of talent into the industry.
We coordinate a diverse programme of events, training and networking opportunities, with our flagship being the Midlands PR Conference. Held in Birmingham, it tackles the challenges and opportunities facing our industry with an impressive line-up of key-note speakers, panel debates, interactive break-out sessions and student showcases.
This group represents communicators from East to West, North to South…Midlands that is! So whether you’re writing copy in Cannock or managing the media in Mansfield, we’re here for you.
The Midlands group welcomes members from: Northamptonshire, Derbyshire, Nottinghamshire, Leicestershire and Rutland; as well as Staffordshire, Warwickshire, Shropshire, Herefordshire, and Worcestershire. We also support parts of the Thames and Chilterns, as well as the Cotswolds region, including Gloucestershire and Oxfordshire.
Our committee members are passionate about PR and devoted to championing all that the marvellous Midlands has to offer.
