Strategic AI adoption for PR teams
Course aim
To prepare senior PR and communication leaders to make confident decisions about how AI is adopted, integrated, and governed within their function. It covers investment, capabilities and structures. This course is about leading the function through AI adoption.
Who should attend
Team leaders and managers, senior agency partners, and others who carry strategic responsibility for building and running public relations and communications functions. Participants should have some existing familiarity with AI in a professional context.
What to expect
A leadership readiness session built around facilitated discussion, scenario planning, and peer challenge. Grounded in current research on the state and future of the PR industry, participants will stress-test their thinking on AI adoption and leave with a practical strategic framework for adoption.
Course objectives
By the end of this session, participants will be able to:
- Evaluate the current state of AI adoption across PR and communications functions and benchmark their own position
- Assess how AI is changing the shape of communications teams
- Develop or pressure-test a strategic AI roadmap for their function, covering priorities, sequencing, governance, and resourcing
- Develop their understanding of how best to navigate the redistribution of influence that AI is driving
- Lead on responsible AI adoption.
